Our regions

ANSD has a number of regional centres located around Australia. Each region is listed below, in alphabetical order, with a link to a PDF of the most recent regional annual report.

Canberra

ANSD Canberra/ACT and Region holds Reflective Workshops and Quiet Days at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture.

Victoria

Our presentations are driven by the power of people’s life experiences and stories, along with the impact they have had on their spiritual life.

All are welcome to attend meetings or our events.

Brisbane/Queensland

ANSD Members live in various locations in Queensland including the tropical far north, the dry north west and the south east of the State.

Today, the network is vibrant and energetic and varies its places for meetings and presentations. There is regular email contact with Members and Friends wherever they live in this vast State. Retreat days and offerings from ANSD and other like organisations are advertised in these communications.

Riverina Region

The ANSD Riverina/NSW Group meets about every six weeks for some nourishing input, collegial support and congenial hospitality.

Members and anyone with an interest in Spiritual Direction or the particular topic are most welcome.

South Australia and Northern Territory

Members of ANSD in South Australia and Northern Territory engage in various spirituality centres and, for spiritual directors, one ecumenical association which combines ANSD membership, membership of the Conference of Spiritual Directors (CSD) and membership of Companions in the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.

We associate with various other groups concerned with spirituality in the community.

The Sydney ANSD Group meets about every six weeks for some nourishing input, collegial support and congenial hospitality.
