The Australian Network for Spiritual Direction exists to encourage spiritual directors in their work,
to nurture enquirers interested in spiritual direction and those who may be drawn to its practice,
to provide regular gatherings and newsletters for their care and nurture and to support national, regional and local training programs.
ANSD acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live,
learn, work and have our being. We respect and honour the First Peoples whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history.

ANSD Spring Meditations 2022
Oct 21 & 28
Join us at 4pm AEST
as Denise Stephenson leads reflections on
St Francis of Assis’s Canticle of the Sun
During our meditation we will sit with St. Francis as we
contemplate the elemental forces that sustain our planet: Sun, Moon, Wind, Water, Fire and Earth,
and hold creative hope for our common future
During our session we will contemplate the interconnection of Spirit, Nature, and Soul,
identifying and acknowledging broken union,
and engage in the meditative work to restore that connection.
What to bring: an element of nature (could be something tangible, like a rock or leaf, from your surrounding landscape or you can use your imagination).
Facilitator: Jana Holland, MAGL-SD

Meeting ID: 851 7807 1934
We join each Friday to hold the suffering of the world and our own suffering in the light of the new day.
Our centring and communing together bring us strength and comfort.
We leave the meditation to shed that strength and hope to others.
The Sacred Universe Within
