*NEW* Weekly Online Healing Meditation for Coronavirus

Weekly online healing meditation for coronavirus

The ANSD will be hosting an online healing meditation each Friday until the end of April and we invite you to join us.

Our intention is to create healing presence for all impacted by coronavirus, to be together in solidarity as we walk as spiritual directors and friends with so many in pain and uncertainty, and to meet heart centre to heart centre stabilising and activating communal consciousness in Australia and in the world.

We will meet each Friday until the end of April at the following times:

ACT, NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria: 4.00 – 5.00pm

Northern Territory and South Australia: 3:30 – 4:30pm

Western Australia: 2.00 – 3.00pm

Connected by Zoom, after a brief welcome, we will sit for 60 minutes in a partially guided silent meditation.

In order to join this meditation…

If you already have Zoom, follow this link:

PLEASE NOTE: These are new links for the meditations. These links will stay the same for each weekly meditation from Friday 3 April.

Before joining the meeting, we encourage you to create a prayerful space in the room from which you will be joining the meditation, lighting a candle or incense if possible. Please arrive in silence with your microphone turned off.

If you are unable to join the Zoom meeting, we invite you, even so, to bring the intention of this healing meditation to your awareness during this time.

We will meet at the same time every Friday throughout April in solidarity with spiritual direction networks around Australia, AECSD, CSD and Companions, along with the Sisters of Mercy. The Contemplative Evolution Network gather in the silence of their heart every day at 4pm – 5pm.

For more information about any of these networks, follow the live links.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr Kerrie Hide who is generously preparing the contemplatio prayer each week as new events unfold, and which form the basis of the weekly healing meditations. We are grateful as well to Rev. Susanna Pain and Trish Watts for the beautiful sung blessing on our community at the end of each meditation. Our hope is that these prayers and recordings will be shared freely.

A resource on communion consciousness by Dr Kerrie Hide is available here: Communion Consciousness by Dr Kerrie Hide.
